The OhioMeansJobs Center of Shelby County has training funds available through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) to provide services to low-income youth, ages 14 - 24, who face barriers to employment. Individual Opportunity Plans, developed by the youth services provider, and the youth prepare youth for employment and/or post-secondary education through strong linkages between academic and occupational learning. |
